Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria attempt to escape Madagascar and return to New York using a hot air balloon they built, only to be thwarted by the lemur population, led by King Julien. On Wednesday and on Thursday is our last day of the term and the year, we will make a party and we will eat some sweets, but before the children will have to sing a song, which they've been dancing and singing on Monday and on Tuesday. It will be so interesting! 

"El dimecres i dijous és l'últim dia del trimestre i de l'any, farem una festa i menjarem unes quantes llaminadures, però abans els nens hauran de cantar una cançó, la qual han estat ballant i cantant el dilluns i dimarts. Serà molt interessant!"

The unit 3 of the pupil's book is about "Play time". This unit is useful to carry out in Christmas, for that, the last week, in the English classes; the children studied a lot of vocabulary related to this topic. Moreover, they learnt some English expressions to ask for presents in Christmas: 

"What do you want for Christmas?" "I want a doll". 

"La unitat 3 del llibre dels alumnes és sobre el temps de jugar. Aquesta unitat és molt útil per dur-la a terme al Nadal, per això, l'última setmana, a les classes d'anglès, els nens van estudiar molt vocabulari relacionat amb aquest tòpic. A més a més, ells van aprendre algunes expressions en anglès per demanar regals al Nadal"

On Monday and on Tuesday, they drew the presents they wanted to ask for Christmas, and they put them in the Christmas tree of the class. Later, we played some games with the flashcards of the toys.

"El dilluns i dimarts, ells van dibuixar les joguines que volien demanar per Nadal, i les van posar a l'arbre de Nadal a la classe. Després, van jugar a alguns jocs amb les cartes de les joguines".

On Wednesday and on Thursday, they watched a video of the famous toys in England. The children realized that the playthings were very similar to what they wanted for Christmas, for example, teddy bears, dolls, helicopters, furbies and many more. Also they did the letter for the Three Kings, with the toys they had watched in the video.

"El dimecres i el dijous, ells van veure un vídeo de les joguines famoses a Anglaterra. Els nens es van adonar que les coses per jugar eren molt semblants a les que ells volien per Nadal, com per exemple, ossos de peluix, nines, helicòpters, furbies i molt més. També van fer una carta pels Tres Reis Macs, amb les joguines que van veure al vídeo".

THE MAGIC STONES (3)

This week has been quite special, because the crew has sent us a new letter with more information about the magic stones and his cruise. He has told us that the new magic stones have got new powers; if we want to ask for a wish, we have to stay alone in our bedrooms in the evenings. Moreover, the new magic stones can talk with the crew, but we don't know how, maybe he will explain soon.

"Aquesta setmana ha sigut una mica especial, perquè el tripulant ens ha enviat una nova carta amb més informació sobre les pedres màgiques i el seu creuer. Ell ens ha explicat que les noves pedres màgiques tenen nous poders; si volem demanar un desig, hem d'estar sols a les nostres habitacions al vespre. A més a més, les noves pedres màgiques poden parlar amb el tripulant, però no sabem com, potser ell ens ho explicarà aviat".

This week we've been reviewing all the units, the children did a worksheet with some questions about the school material, alphabet, Halloween and food, and they played two different games, which are called: "Who wants to be millionaire?" and "Tic Tac Toe".

"Aquesta setmana hem estat repassant totes les unitats, els nens van fer una fitxa amb algunes preguntes sobre el material escolar, l'alfabet, Halloween i el menjar, i van jugar a dos jocs diferents, els quals s'anomenen: "qui vol ser milionari?" i "tres en ratlla".

Keep an eye on the game of who wants to be millionaire; it was so funny that children wanted to answer more questions in English! They earned a lot of money and they had a lot of fun!

"Mireu el joc de qui vol ser milionari; va ser tan divertit que els nens volien respondre moltes preguntes amb anglès! Ells van guanyar molts diners i s'ho van passar molt bé!".

The following weeks we're going to study the topic of the Christmas. There will be a lot of surprises! It will be very funny!

Today children have finished the unit of the family and the actions and they have performed a theatre. The next day they will put it into practice in other classes, it will be so funny! 

"Avui els nens han acabat el tema de la família i les accions i ells han actuat un teatre. El pròxim dia ells el posaran en pràctica en altres classes, serà molt divertit!".

The story they have developed was about a family bus. In the bus, there were a daddy, mummy, brother, sister, baby, uncle, aunt, grandma, grandpa and cousin. They had to go to the park and the driver asked them some questions before. 

"La història que ells han desenvolupat era sobre un bus familiar. Al bus havia un pare, mare, germà, germana, bebè, tiet, tieta, àvia, avi i cosí. Ells havien d'anar al parc i el conductor els va preguntar unes preguntes abans".

Hello people!

The last week we were studying the actions in the free time and reviewing the topic of the family! The last day we did a worksheet with oral questions of the actions and the family and the children in pairs had to answer them with a tick or cross. "Do you have brothers or sisters?" "Do you like dancing?". 

"L'última setmana vam estar estudiant les accions al temps lliure i repassant el tòpic de la família! L'últim dia vam fer una fitxa amb preguntes orals de les accions i la família i els nens en parelles havien de respondre-les amb un tic o una creu. "Tens germans i germanes?" "T'agrada ballar?".

The next week, we're going to review all the units (all the vocabulary, grammar structures and English rules)! Then, we're going to study the topic of the Christmas! It will be so interesting, let's go!

On Wednesday and on Thursday, the pupils started a new unit: the family and the actions in the free time. In addition, they learned some popular expression to refer to the family: "Do you have brothers or sisters?", "Do you have cousins?", "Do you have an aunt and an uncle?", "Do you have a grandma and a grandpa?".

"El dimecres i el dijous, els alumnes van començar una nova unitat: la família i les accions al temps lliure. A més a més, ells van aprendre algunes expressions populars per referir-se a la família "tens germans o germanes?", "Tens cosins?", "Tens un tiet o una tieta?", "Tens una àvia o avi?"

They did some activities to learn the vocabulary and the expressions. First of all, they did a drawing of their family, have a look at these tasks!

"Ells van fer algunes activitats per aprendre el vocabulari i les expressions. Primer de tot, van fer un dibuix de la família, mireu les tasques!"

Then, they played a game, the twister. They had to touch the flashcard of the family with their foots and their hands, following the instructions of the teacher. 

"Després, ells van jugar a un joc, el "twister". Ells van haver de tocar una carta de la família amb els seus peus i mans, seguint les instruccions de la mestra"

Finally, they had to ask some questions about the family in pairs. They had absorbed the information like sponges, for that reason, at the end of the class, they learned all the sentences!

"Finalment, ells es van haver de preguntar unes preguntes sobre la família en parelles. Ells havien absorbit la informació com esponges, per això, al final de la classe, van aprendre totes les frases"

Dear families,

In the English classes we're going to study a new unit: the family members and the actions. For that reason, the children will need photographs about their family: the mum, the dad, the sister, the brother, the cousins, the aunt, the uncle and the grandparents (the grandmother and the grandfather). They should bring printed photographs, because they will cut them.

"A les classes d'anglès anem a estudiar un nou tema: els membres de la família i les accions. Per aquesta raó, els nens necessitaran fotografies sobre la seva família: la mare, el pare, la germana, el germà, els cosins, el tiet, la tieta i els avis (l'àvia i l'avi). Ells haurien de portar fotografies impreses, perquè les retallaran".
